    Owners & Makers

We’re a husband and wife team, salvaging our world one piece of reclaimed furniture at a time! Our workshop, a 1930’s wood barn, is full of history and character and we do our best to infuse some of both of those attributes into everything we build.

Frequently asked questions

What finish options do you offer?

We offer six standard color options-check them out here: https://www.etsy.com/listing/215804327

Our standard finish is a zero-VOC, non-toxic and sustainable natural oil finish that is easy to maintain and food safe. It is a matte finish, doesn’t require a topcoat, and it is available in any of our 6 color options as well as custom colors.

We also offer a low-VOC clear satin finish with a conventional stain if requested.

Our outdoor pieces are finished with a UV-resistant natural oil or clear varnish for maximum resilience and easy maintenance.

Where do you source your wood?

Each piece we build is handcrafted using salvaged or reclaimed wood, unless the listing or custom order specifies otherwise.

Reclaimed or salvaged wood is defined broadly, but our definition is lumber that has been re-purposed (barn wood, etc) or salvaged lumber, rescued from trees that fell due to natural causes or that had to be removed. This material would other wise be chipped, burned or discarded, but we and our local partners step in, cut and mill the logs, kiln dry the lumber and use it to create our beautiful products! We source our lumber from local sawmills and all of our wood is 100% sustainable, most coming from within our county.

Do you use a topcoat on your pieces?

Our standard finish is zero-VOC, natural oil finish. It is a matte finish and doesn’t require a topcoat, and it is available in any of our 6 color options as well as custom colors.

We also offer both low-VOC and standard solvent based finishes-please message us with special requests.

Our outdoor pieces are finished with a UV-resistant natural oil for maximum resilience and easy maintenance.

Are your dimensions exact?

Due to the nature of reclaimed wood, each piece may have slight variations. We do our best to compensate for material differences, but dimensions may vary up to 2" from the listed measurements. Please contact us if you have specific space requirements that require precise dimensions!

What is your lead time?

We are a husband and wife team and we build each piece by hand! We don’t carry an inventory and we source all of our materials locally from sustainable sources (or we salvage them ourselves!). Our lead time is typically 7-12 weeks depending on the season and our current projects, as well as the customization of your order. We truly appreciate your patience and support of our small business!

What do I do if I have a problem with my order?

Please let us know ASAP! We want you to love your iReclaimed piece-if you don’t, contact us immediately and we will work to make sure you are satisfied. We have a 30 day return and full refund policy and we also offer replacements under certain circumstances. Just message us and we will take it from there!

Do you ship to Alaska and Hawaii?

We sure do! Just message us prior to ordering for a shipping quote!

What is your disclaimer?

This includes damages incurred from use, assembly or installation of items.
